The Horse Barn Shipping Policy
Thank you for visiting and shopping at The Horse Barn. The Horse Barn strives to deliver your purchases in the fastest, most cost effective manner.
Shipping processing time
All orders are processed within 48 hours of receiving order Monday – Friday. Orders received after 2:00 pm will be shipped the next day. Orders are not processed on weekends or holidays. For any reason you need to change the shipping method, please contact us at webstore@horsebarncanada.com or call 250-374-3511.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or the availability of our inventory, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
If an item is out of stock, we will notify you and advise you of your options and correct the circumstances.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates
The Shipping method you select as well as the final destination will dictate the time it takes to get to you as well as the cost. All Canada Post Expedited shipment includes a tracking number and $100 liability insurance against loss and damage (excluding fragile items).
There may occasionally be delivery delays beyond our control and we are unable to compensate for these occurrences if delay occurs.
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Shipping rates listed in this policy are for online shopping only and exclude in-store, special order or phone orders. Other shipping methods or overnight delivery (addresses within Canada) are available upon request.

International and US Shipping Policy
At this time our ecommerce site does not allow us to ship outside of Canada. Please contact us, with International orders, with your address for a shipping quote.
Custom, Duties and Taxes
The Horse barn is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
Damages
The Horse Barn is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Dishes, glassware and liquid product are shipped at your own risk. We are not responsible for any damages that may occur during shipping.
Back Orders
If an item goes on back order, we will notify you when it comes available
Return & Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping at The Horse Barn. The Horse Barn is committed to your 100% satisfaction. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.
Returns
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging.
Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.
The only exception is on saddles which have a 15 day maximum. Some items cannot be returned if they are opened (Music, DVD,) and there is no return on Riding Helmets, Supplements, Feed, Vitamins and Dewormer due to safety concerns.
Merchandise that has been worn, used or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.
No refunds on Clearance or Sale items or intimate apparel.
Refunds
We guarantee products only when they are used for the purpose intended, under fair and ordinary conditions. We will repair or replace, at our discretion, items that are defective in workmanship.
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item and in some cases the manufacturer.
We will notify you if your return is not approved 100%.
If your return is approved we will initiate a refund to your credit card.
Saddle Return Policy
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your new saddle please return the unused saddle for a refund or exchange within 15 days of purchase.
We want you and your horse to be happy, so try your new saddle on, but please inspect it carefully to make sure it is the saddle you ordered. Saddles require a break in period and have to be ridden several times and will not sit completely down on the horses back. Wear an older pair of jeans and a clean blanket, to ride the saddle one time to ensure it fits you and your horse. Full credit will only be given on a saddle if there is no wear, dirt or use. A restocking fee will be assessed on saddles not returned in new condition.
Restocking Fee
All items are subject to a 10% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order.
Exchanges
If your clothing item is in like new condition, you may exchange your clothing item for a different size or colour. You will not be subject to a restocking fee in this case, but you still will have to pay return shipping.
Shipping Returned Product
Returned packages must be sent prepaid. We will not accept COD packages.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
